You can have your cake and eat it too - enjoy the beach in the morning ( make sure to get there early- Before or around 9:00 am if possible) and still be able to schedule an afternoon round about 3:30pm, at which time the sun will be going down and the golf course will be a little cooler and less crowded.

I always use to use the south entrance, when it was open just to be on the pmbo first at the front of the car, and waiting abou t an hour before the park opened. now that we all have to yse north entrance, people are always running to get to the best rides first.
What was anoying last season, i use to always be waiting about an hour before entering the north entrance, I always going on infusion first, at the fronyt of the que line waiting for the doors to open, as soon as they were open people where rushing past me just to get on that ride, a bit unfaie as i was waiting half an hour just for it to open.

TV adverts cant do any harm, however I think anyone who hasn’t already heard of PBB needs putting up against a wall and shooting.
Then there is the cost implication…

Now if all them extra rides have to be paid for then people PB will keep making cash no matter how many times you ride, now obviously the ride whores amongst us here would probly not ride so much and may not even come if thay had to pay per ride, but this way PB would make off every single rider on every operating ride.

I would certainly never bother travelling to Blackpool if a pay-per-ride system meant that I could not afford to stay at PB all day. To be honest, I can’t see a problem with having wristbands and ride tickets, so that people can choose whether to pay for a few rides or for the whole day. While the likes of Alton Towers, Flamingoland etc can run on POP only, they can concentrate their custom on far fewer rides than PB. PB has many more rides than these places, and somehow has to make them pay. Surely PB would make the most money by offering wristbands (for people like me) and also ride tickets for passing trade.
I wonder, through becoming POP only and closing so many rides for 2009, whether PB is deliberately trying to become more like other parks. Perhaps future years will see more smaller rides disappearing. I hope not, because in my opinion the unique mix of rides at PB is the main reason for visiting. PB simply does not have enough extreme rides to compete with the likes of AT on that level alone.

Sadly I did not read the topic headline properly at first and thought it was Flamingoland for a second |
Glad it wasn’t just me who did that then.
This is a ride I would love to try as I really enjoyed Samurai. As Graham says though it makes Samurai look like a kiddie ride and there’s me thinking Samurai was extreme!!
