My mate has tolled me this morning that his Sony Ericsson K850 has just given up after only 3 months. Last time I looked at it, it was fine, unscratched, but he has resorted to using a old Nokia now, as his Sony keeps delegating files, not saving photos and jus basically being annoying. Tbh, he has disliked the phones user interface since day one, and I am not sure that it is broke, more the fact that he doesnt know how to use it (even though he is a bit of a computer geek).

I will just say, I am not Sonys biggest fan, as I have had bad experiences with 2 of there cameras, a phone, and an old PS2 (just remembered about that this morning), but I have also had some good products from them, including multiple TVs, PSP, PS1, Discman, head phones, and probably a lot more.

Basically, I have decided not to perches portable Sony items now, as they seem to be the ones I am having more problems with, but I still think that they are very good at some of the stuff they do, and are stylish as well.

My K850 is working a treat, the camera is amazing but i often find myself worrying about it breaking again…
It looks brilliant IMO too xD

I rarely hear of bad products from sony, apart from Microsoft fanboys

But im sorry about your problems Lewis

…Sea turtles! Rare species of sea turtles are known to nest here, including the endangered loggerhead and the much rarer leatherback. You probably won”t see the turtles themselves but you might see evidence that they have been around. If you”d really like to see the turtles, there are ranger-led walks in May and June. Make advanced reservations through the office — these tours are popular.

Yes, the trains are probably away, being X-Rayed for fatigue as part of routine maintenance. See you tomorrow Scott B, you must take time to chat after our chance meeting last weekend. Sea Lion (Honking Wildly!) |
Will do, sorry for not stopping for a chat last weekend. ![]()

Fair enough Ash.
Anybody else going to be joining us, for the very last day of the 2008 season?

I’d happily work for the Pleasure Beach in a management or executive position which at least matched my current salary and working conditions.
I’d certainly not be interested in a job as a ride operative or sales assistant, as it would cost too much in travel for me to do such a job there. Maybe if I was retired and lived in Blackpool it woudl be good for extra income though.

The topic was started, because I thought it would cause interesting debate, and it certainly has.
I am not going to lock it, because whats the point of that? But please, if you have nothing else to add to the debate, dont bother posting in here, only post if you think it’ll help the debate of the topic.
Cheers. ![]()

early season stated for my family at loudoun castle at the easter holidays it was absolutely baltic but a good out and the park was really busy.2nd trip was to grangemouths zetland parks 1 pound a ride night, absolutely heaving all night and great value for money.3rd trip was to m&ds strathclyde park,it wasnt very busy and i was surprised to see how run down and uncared for the park is getting(a painter is badly required for all the steel coaster).4th trip was back to loudoun castle at the end of the summer school holidays, the credit crunch was starting to bite and the park was noticably quiet but we all managed a good ride count as there were little queues.5th trip was end of season trip to bpb during the scottish october school week which was not the best of weather tues was heavy rain, wed was intermitent rain so we plumped for thursday which although sunny was cold and we were surprised how quiet the park was,no avalanche, ark or space invader, and breakdowns galore. We made the most of it but left feeling a little dissapointed that the scottish buisness doesnt seem to mean as much as it used to.Still not the end of season though as im hoping to go to edinburgh for the xmas celebrations and funfair in the next few weeks.Well this sums up a mixed season, what about everybody else!!!!

I used to stay on Osbourne Road a lot when I was a nipper, don’t remember the Verdo, has it changed name dukedog?
I stayed at the Shirley Dene with my folks when I was a nipper, before it got taken over and aimed at a different type of customer
Then I stayed at Sandalwood with mates when I was a teenager.
I’ve many happy memories of Osbourne Road ![]()

the copys that must exist (not going to infringe copyright so im not saying whether ive got one or not) were copied from vhs to a dvd recorder as there were very few dvd recorders about when the original series was shown. If the person recorded them from tv as most people do then as long as its for personal use then its ok.I think it was lion tv that did the series for the beeb,an its strange it wasnt released on dvd and people have to do things illegal and until we get a docusoap tv channel its unlikely to be shown again

Obviously, but whats wrong with giving the staff public praise? They are normally being slated, so its a nice change for PBB to read positive posts about there staff.

Hi all
I was at a bar last night. I was hopping from barstool to barstool trying to get lucky, but there wasn’t any gum under any of them!

We got stopped on the first turn table when the sheilds on the side of the boat got jammed into the mechanics of the turn table! Ended up having to walk down the inside of the ride and around the back area beside the Grand National, better than a ride on Valhalla IMO!
